The FamicomBox: Famicom For The Hotel

The FamicomBox: The Famicom For The Hotel    Introduction Have you ever been to a hotel? If you have, it is very likely that they may have a console you can play in your room. If you were in Japan in late 80s you would have had access to the FamicomBox. A famicom intended for hotel use.   Details   The FamicomBox is a silver metal box. It can hold 15 famicom games at once. The unique thing about the games is that their shells are the same as your standard NES cartridge. All of the games have the same label. These games will only work on the FamicomBox system. Meaning if you buy a FamicomBox game it will not work on any regular retail famicom or NES. Many games like Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, Wild Gunman, Exitebike, Ice Climbers, Bomberman, Donkey Kong 1 and 2, Gradius, Rockman and many more are on this system. Also, the controllers and light gun on this system are similar to the NES.     The End Thank...

Every Funtastic N64 Worst To Best From North America

Every North American Funtastic N64 From Worst To Best                                           S moke Black  I  personally think this is one is the most unnecessary of the N64 models. Mostly because it looks almost identical to the regular  charcoal black 64. If you are buying an N64, you should not get this model unless you're a hardcore collector or fan of the N64.                                                         Watermelon Red This particular one does not look to me, I personally don't care for the shade of red they used. Which is a shame since red is my favorite color. I think you should also stay away from this watered down Kool-Aid shade of red.          ...

Doom Absolution

Doom Absolution Happy Halloween everybody! Today I will be talking about the cancelled game Doom Absolution on the N64. Which was meant to be a sequel to Doom 64.          Info There is a lot we do not know about this title, so lets dive into some of the basics. It was meant to be a sequel to Doom 64. It would've been a multiplayer focused shooter game, To compete with games like Goldeneye.   A quote from Aaron Seeler said "At that time, as doom purists, most everybody involved thought it Was silly to play doom split screen, where you could see everybody else. So, we chose not to do it. 007 beat the crap out of Doom 64. Quite a regret". They decided to cancel the game because by then their engine named the Doom engine was becoming outdated. So They decided to work on Quake 64 instead. Fun Fact Doom Absolution was canceled only three months after the release of Doom 64        The  End Ha...

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins Review

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins Review Plot While Mario was busy saving Sarasaland, his rival Wario is on a mission to gain his very own   palace.   In this game Wario steals Mario's island by hypnotizing it's residents. Which  means Mario has to save the day. Gameplay  The gameplay is good just like its predecessor. I like that you can basically go through all 6 zones in any order you like. The controls feel better than the first game, which felt more stiff. The controls now feel more fluent.   Graphics The graphics look much better in this game compared to the last. The characters look way more detailed especially Mario. The developers really enhanced the graphics in this game.   Conclusion In conclusion, Super Mario Land 2 is an amazing game. Especially compared to the first game. I give it a 9.5/10. It truly is a must have for any Gameboy collector, if you don't already have it The End Remember to have a great day...

Super Mario Land Review

Super Mario Land Review    The Story Since this game was directed without Super Mario's creator Shigeru Miyamoto's involvement, they decided to change up the story and characters. Besides Mario himself, no other characters from the previous games make any appearances.  The plot is about a space monster named Tatanga, he hypnotizes the people of all 4 kingdoms of Sarasaland. Tatanga conquers all of the kingdoms and kidnaps Princess Daisy. But of course  to no surprise, it's Mario who has to save the day. Gameplay It is a fun platformer game as any Mario game should be. There are 8 worlds which contain 3 levels each. There are also special levels including submarine shooting, the final boss fight, and an entire shoot 'em up level. These level were exactly what Miyamoto actually wanted in the first Sup...
